Ahmed Motloung is a 33-year-old South African born and raised in the East Rand township of Katlehong. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Religion from the University of Johannesburg and aspires to continue his academic journey. Growing up in a township setting, he has been exposed to much diversity albeit challenges faced by contemporary youth which has thus fueled his passion for community service and a vision for a non-racial, non-sexist society in line with the values enshrined within our constitution.

He has always been passionate about social justice and believes that all people have in them the potential for good, thus he envisages, through public service and humanitarian efforts, a prosperous South Africa. Ahmed hopes to see his country as a land where everyone has equal opportunities irrespective of their race, gender, and backgrounds.
