Tahera Nontokozo Msomi

My name is Tahera Nontokozo Msomi, a graduate in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Johannesburg. I am pursing an Honours degree in Historical Studies this year.

I am an intersectional activist whose focus and passion are gender, the climate, and most importantly, social justice. I have always tried to partake in spaces that advocate for change and to be counted among people who effect change in their communities. I am currently a member of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation Youth Activism Program which aims to empower young people to bring about positive change to their various communities.

I am a bubbly, introverted individual who enjoys watching different sports and I binge-watch series in my free time.
I am very honoured to be partaking in this fellowship as I do feel that it will build me and empower as an individual.
